My enemy; my friend; my teacher.

Welcome to another day…another day to make your own.

Yesterday, I had a conversation with a very wise client about regarding “enemies” as blessings.

Yes indeed.

Each one of the people in your life, whether they are an unconscious family member, an angry political candidate, or just an obnoxious stranger in the check out line,  gives us an opportunity to pause and remember who we really are and make a choice to take action aligned with that truth.

Today, if you feel hurt and small because that family member has broken a promise, you could react to your vulnerability by puffing yourself up and biting back; you could react by shrinking and making yourself invisible.

Or you could allow the sting to remind you to love and respect yourself.  This may mean that you decide to speak up and assert yourself with honesty and integrity and ask for changes to be made.  It could also mean that you decide to accept that your family member is unlikely to change and simply do what is necessary to continue loving and respecting yourself…

If you feel anxious about that angry/dishonest politician who you fear may win an election, you could react to your fear with anger yourself; you could react also by getting swept away with despair and hopelessness.

Or you could use the feelings of concern to inspire you to take action where you can, and remind you to let go and trust life to take its natural course.  Even if the outcome is not what you desire, anger, worry and fear will not change the results.

If you feel indignant when a stranger on line at the grocery loudly begins to berate an older gentleman for “cutting” in front of him, you could ignore the two of them; you could also join in the nastiness – toward the “berater” or the “cutter.”

Or you could remember the light and love that resides within you, and know that you can shift the energy around you by connecting with your best self, and then expressing it.  So you might smile at each of them.  You might offer your place in line to either one.  You might buy two Scratch Off’s and hand them each one…

You may not be able to instantly change others or your environment, however, one thing is for sure, if you change your thoughts, shift your focus, and take action aligned with love, you will feel better.

Guaranteed.

You will feel better.

“A wise man gets more use from his enemies
than a fool from his friends.”

Remember:

I am brilliant;

I am magnificent;

I am a being of Love and Light.

I am here to bring my Essence Self to every experience of my Life.
