Collective Tension.

Hello you beautiful being of Light,

This past year, we experienced an several extraordinary and defining moments in the history of the United States (maybe actually, in the history of the entire planet).

It doesn’t matter which political side you land on.  We are all continuously participating and being effected by the energy of the tension inherent in the process of significant change.
We are having a collective experience that has been underscored and super-charged by social media and our technological ability to be plugged into the intensity of national and global events, 24/7.

Even if you never turn on the TV, even if you don’t have a FaceBook account, even if you don’t read your emails or a single tweet or Instagram post, the energy being generated by every person who participates actively or indirectly is pervasive and unavoidable.

None of us can help but be effected.

The tension may likely grow more intense before things settle down; and it may be challenging to stay grounded, centered and present.

So, no matter what your political leaning, right now, imagine the energy of the feeling you want to experience; the energy of the feeling to want to share; the energy of the feeling you want our country to embody and express as a member of the larger global community.

We can effect the outcomes of the national and global decisions being made  in various practical ways – our ongoing votes, our time, our financial contributions, and a variation of any of these actions.   While there are many things we can do, at a certain point, there is nothing left.  We have no choice but to let go…and allow life to unfold.

You may be feeling anxious, angry, worried, afraid.

Some of this may be part of the collective anxiety, anger, worry, fear that we are all experiencing – for reasons unique to each and every one of us.

Today, choose not to get lost in the energy of negativity.

No matter what, there is always a choice to make about how we will respond to the results of anything outside of our individual control.

So right now, remember to practice bringing yourself back to your present, Essence self, by taking a conscious breath…

Right now, notice you are breathing.

Practice noticing as often as you remember throughout the day.

As you do,

Remember who you are and how you want to express yourself to the world, today and every day.

Oh, and don’t forget to say this to yourself each time you take a conscious breath:

I am brilliant;

I am magnificent;

I am a being of Love and Light.

I am here to bring my Essence Self to every experience of my Life.
