Right now, as you are prepare to start your day, first thing, take a nice conscious breath and focus on the physical feeling of being in your body…Using all five of your senses.
Notice what you can taste in your mouth.
Notice what your nose can smell.
Notice how your eyes have the ability to see.
Notice all the sounds your ears can hear.
Notice all of the places on your body where you can feel touch.
Become fully aware of your total body presence right this moment. See if you can feel your whole body sensation, from the top of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes all at the same time.
Now, shift inward and become aware of the emotional feeling of being you in this moment.
Or is there a feeling of heaviness weighing you down without even knowing why?
If so, be gentle and curious about it. While it is there for a reason, you don’t have to know exactly what that reason is before you can accept its presence and open yourself to self- compassion.
Sometimes our stories have been with us for so long, even though we are healing and making changes, growing and expanding, the energy of the past hasn’t fully moved through us yet.
Even if self-love is a new concept for you, do your best to imagine what it would feel like if you knew how to love yourself.
Imagine what if would feel like if you knew, without a doubt, to the very core of you that:
You are loved.
You are valued.
You are important.
You are unique and special.
Simply because you are You.
A child of God.
A spark of Divine Light.
That is Who You Are.
You are learning.
You are growing.
You are becoming.
And all along, you are shining bright like the brilliant, magnificent Light that You Are.
Breathe consciously, and remember this is Who You Are:
I am brilliant;
I am magnificent;
I am a being of Love and Light.
I am here to bring my Essence Self to the world.
The world needs me.
